Meet the Wineingers
Yup, we're real... and kind of messy.
We're Nathan & Lindsay — hobby farmers, feed store owners, parents, and now, your small business guides.
Our story
It started with a dream and a feed store.
We started Wineinger Farms to follow our journey toward the farm life we always dreamed of. What began as a blog tracking our path from a 1970s two-story in a neighborhood to a working farm turned into something much bigger — a community of people who believe in hard work, faith, and building something that lasts.
Nathan is out working a 9-5, helping his dad tend to the animals, and doing what girl-dads do (softball, basketball, homework, etc.). Lindsay is behind the register at Country Feed & Supply in Princeville, Illinois — blogging, keeping home base covered, and bringing the comic relief.
Together, we're raising three fiery little girls — Ruthie, Tessa, and Joanna — and building a life we're proud of. That's what Small Town Business Co. is all about.
Why we built this
We built Small Town Business Co. for people like us.
We know what it's like to juggle a full-time job, a side hustle, a family, and a dream — all at the same time. We've made the mistakes, learned the hard lessons, and figured out what actually works in real life (not just on paper).
Small Town Business Co. exists to give you the practical tools, honest guidance, and encouragement to build a business that fits your life — in the community you love. No fancy business talk. No complicated strategies. Just real help for real people.
What We Stand For
Faith First
Everything we do is rooted in faith in God's plan, even when the path isn't clear.
Community Over Competition
Small towns thrive when neighbors lift each other up. We're here to build together.
Real Over Perfect
We keep it honest. No polished highlight reels — just the real journey, messy and all.
Hard Work Pays Off
We believe in rolling up your sleeves and doing the work. There are no shortcuts to something worth having.
